Jack Started playing the djembe 6 years ago. His primary teachers are the Koné family from Burkina Faso. He has been learning from them in Denmark as well as in Ouagadougou. Now he wants to share what he has learned with you

The aim with these classes is to provide you with musical literacy that allows you to ‘speak’ with others of that language, the West African djembe language — and have fun!
We learn traditional rhythmic compositions containing specific rhythms, calls, breaks and solo phrases.
The instructor takes you on a journey and tries to strike a balance between focus, fun, difficulty and challenge in an attempt to create the optimally engaging session that leaves you feeling enlivened and empowered.
